Product Description

GYTY53 underground fiber optic cable is an outdoor communication optical cable of metal strength member of the loose tube jelly-filled structure, with polyethylene laminated sheath longitudinally covered with corrugated steel-tape armored polyethylene outer sheath.

The loose tubes are made of high modulus plastics (PBT) and filled with water resistant filling gel. Loose tubes are stranded around the metallic central strength member, cable core is filled with cable filling compound. Polyethylene (PE) is extruded as inner sheath, then water swollen yarns and corrugated steel tape are longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, and combined with a durable PE sheath.

  1. For flame retardant cable, outer sheath can be made of low-smoke halogen-free (LSZH) material, and the type is GYTZY53. 1. According to different applications, GYTA333, GYTS33, For the anti-termite cable, additional Nylon resin is extruded over the outer sheath and the type is GYTY54.
  2. On customer’s request, cables can be offered with longitudinal color strip on outer sheath. More details, please refer to GYTA series.
  3. Special cable structure can be designed and manufactured on customer’s request.
